Our Work

Since the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition was formally established in 2016, our work has significantly expanded beyond supporting our partner organizations and our initial focus on World Ovarian Cancer Day. The 2018 Every Woman Study™ laid the groundwork for understanding the global landscape of ovarian cancer. Building on this foundation, we have developed the Every Woman Study™: Low- and Middle-Income Edition in collaboration with the International Gynecologic Cancer Society. This new edition aims to capture the experiences of women in low- and middle-income countries, providing the ovarian cancer community with crucial data to advocate for meaningful change.

In addition to this, we are dedicated to evidence generation through various initiatives. One of our significant projects is the Ovarian Cancer Cost-of-Illness Study, the first of its kind to quantify the social and economic burden of ovarian cancer across different income-level countries. This study provides valuable insights into the societal and healthcare costs associated with ovarian cancer, supporting our global and national advocacy efforts.

Our work is always aimed at improving the quality of life and survival rates for those affected by ovarian cancer, regardless of their geographical location.
