The 6th Annual World Ovarian Cancer Coalition Impact Awards are coming soon, and we want to celebrate the incredible people and organisations making a difference in the ovarian cancer community worldwide.
Know someone who inspires you? A colleague doing extraordinary work? An organisation creating meaningful change? Or perhaps you’re making an impact yourself? We want to hear about it!
Nominations are OPEN NOW to everyone in the ovarian cancer community. You can nominate someone else or nominate yourself.

This Year’s Categories
1. Evidence into Action
This award recognises those helping to close important gaps in what we know about ovarian cancer and turning knowledge into meaningful action.
Examples of work could include:
- Generating new research, data or insights
- Filling gaps in our understanding of ovarian cancer
- Using evidence or lived experience to improve care or support
- Turning research into changes in policy, practice or awareness
- Using data to identify and address inequalities
2. Advocacy for Change
This award recognises those using their voice, relationships and influence to push for change and make ovarian cancer a greater priority.
Examples of work could include:
- Influencing policy, guidelines or decision-makers
- Securing greater funding, resources or commitment
- Raising the profile of ovarian cancer with governments or health systems
- Giving people affected by ovarian cancer a stronger voice
- Bringing advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers or decision-makers together
3. Powering the Grassroots
This award celebrates those strengthening ovarian cancer communities, reaching underserved groups and creating opportunities for people affected by the disease to connect, participate and lead.
Examples of work could include:
- Building or strengthening local advocacy
- Reaching underserved or often-overlooked communities
- Developing accessible resources for patients, families or communities
- Creating innovative local programmes or initiatives
- Sharing knowledge and best practice between communities
- Empowering people affected by ovarian cancer to become advocates and leaders
