Sbba Siddique

Sbba Siddique is a seasoned broadcaster, award-winning podcast host and Co-Founder & Director of Asian Star Radio. A national patient voice leader and cancer advocate, she contributes to cancer policy, prevention frameworks, national audits and global expert groups.

Diagnosed in March 2022 with Stage 3C low-grade serous ovarian cancer at 53, she underwent two surgeries and intravenous and oral chemotherapy, achieving No Evidence of Disease (NED). In the summer of 2025, Sbba experienced a recurrence and underwent her third surgery in November 2025. She is currently in treatment and living with cancer. Her lived experience drives her work to improve outcomes for South Asian communities, particularly in gynaecological cancers, addressing health inequalities, promoting culturally competent care and challenging stigma to support earlier diagnosis.
