Mikis has been working for the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition for over three years primarily as Study Director for the socioeconomic burden of ovarian cancer study. He has over 20 years’ experience working in health policy in numerous roles covering the UK and global arenas including in senior Director roles for Prostate Cancer UK and Target Ovarian Cancer and before that worked in respiratory health as a campaigner. Mikis also spent three years working in-house at MSD (Merck) UK as their patient engagement lead and over five years at health communications’ agency Ogilvy Health World and other WPP agencies.
