Emma Kane OBE
Emma Kane OBE is a corporate affairs specialist, philanthropist, and experienced charity Chair and trustee. She is Global Deputy CEO, Head of EMEA and UK CEO of
communications agency, SEC Newgate, which is the world’s 18th largest communications group with 60 offices across 5 continents, has over 1,300 employees.
Emma is Deputy Chair of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Senior Independent Member of the Arts & Humanities Research Council which is a nondepartmental public body within UKRI, to fund and strategically steward the UK’s arts and humanities research. She is Deputy Chair of the commercially focused, not-for-profit Green Finance Institute. In 2023, she stepped down as Chair of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s largest ovarian cancer charity operating across all four nations, having been on its board for 9 years. In May 2021, she stepped down as Chair of The Barbican Centre Trust after 9 years on its Board. Emma was awarded an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours 2026 for services to philanthropy.
