Dr. Deborah Harkness

Deborah Harkness is the author of the internationally best-selling books of the All Souls series. A history professor at the University of Southern California, Professor Harkness teaches European history and the history of science. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (B.A., 1986), Northwestern University (M.A., 1990), and the University of California, Davis (Ph.D., 1994) and has received Fulbright, Guggenheim, and National Humanities Center fellowships. She lives in Los Angeles.
