Congratulations on being appointed to the Board of Directors of the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Your successful application marks the beginning of an exciting and impactful journey with us. As a vital part of the only global not-for-profit organization solely focused on ovarian cancer, you join a dedicated team that collaborates with 200 patient advocacy organizations worldwide. Since our establishment in 2016, we have been steadfast in our mission to ensure that everyone living with or at risk of ovarian cancer has the best chance of survival and quality of life, regardless of their location.

In your new role, you will be instrumental in implementing our 5-year Strategic Plan, “From Evidence to Action,” and shaping the future direction and priorities of our Coalition. We are committed to health equity and passionate about changing the trajectory of this challenging disease. Your unique perspectives, experiences, and dedication will help us achieve our vision.

We are also deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we value the geographical diversity and varied ideas you bring to our Board. We especially appreciate the insights of those with lived experiences of cancer, as they are crucial in ensuring the patient perspective is always at the forefront of our work.

Welcome aboard! Together, we will continue to strive for a world where everyone affected by ovarian cancer has access to the best possible care and support.

Yours sincerely,
